Role Description: 

The Technical Writer’s role is to work within IT.DCC department to create technical documents with clearly, concisely, and effectively – work closely with the product managers and product development teams for creating high quality product documentation to help customers understand and use the product.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain all technical documentation such as product specifications, user guides, instruction manuals for panel/monitor/gaming products.
  • Translate, edit, standardize, clarify, proofread technical and non-technical documents from Chinese to English/English to Chinese
  • Assist to ensure terminology used within technical documentation are correct and understood
  • Ability to maintain/manage technical documents systematically.

Qualifications and Experienc

  • Bachelor degree or above in English, Computer Science or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in technical writing role
  • IT industry work experience is a plus
  • Experience and familiarity with panel/monitor products are preferred
  • Proficient in Chinese (Mandarin) and English
  • Ability to collaborate with product managers and R&D to create precise and well-structured documents
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with varying priorities; balance time/resource allocation to meet challenging scheduling requirements

Knowledge and Skills: 

  • Excellent communication skill with impeccable written English
  • Skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Acrobat; Photoshop or Illustrator is a plus
