Role Description

Reporting to the VP of Business Development – Europe, the Key Account Manager will be responsible for day-to-day management, development and growth of newly won – and in some cases, existing –accounts, in a combination of the evaluation, integration and Mass Production phases of the sales cycle. Based remotely, with regular presence at our Cambridge headquarters, the Account Manager – EMEA will be expected to work closely with all global departments within the business in order to optimise revenue within leading accounts.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales pipeline management, from product evaluation, through technical integration, to Mass Production.
  • Maintenance of all aspects of existing key account business, and in turn creating close understanding and relationships with our Logistics, Production, Software, Product and Hardware Engineering teams.
  • Managing onboarding process for all new business accounts in EMEA.
  • Understanding of relevant customers’ project roadmaps and driving internal developments to synchronise these objectives effectively.
  • Crafting of close relationships with all points across the customer business.
  • Developing an advanced understanding of Quixant product portfolio and roadmap in order to optimise lead conversion potential.
  • Facilitation of growth; upselling Quixant portfolio product to maximise potential revenue, and ensuring strong profit margin
  • Liaise with Operations team with a view to effectively understanding all aspects of supply chain, logistics and production capabilities within the global company structure.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • 5+ years previous experience in external key account / business development roles essential (technology sector preferable).


Knowledge and Skills:

  • Diligent mindset essential, to enable effective and comprehensive ongoing customer management.
  • Motivated personality, with eagerness to drive and develop new business strategies.
  • Willingness to learn the multitude of features and benefits provided to the customer by Quixant technology, and to expand on these facets through upselling and introduction to new facets of the company portfolio.
  • Knowledge/learning of the structure and the major influencers of the global Gaming industry – both in Europe and beyond – preferred.
  • The ability to work both individually and as part of a team essential.
  • Flexibility to enable frequent travel essential.
  • Motivation to deliver results from an individual perspective, allied to understanding and actively contributing to the Quixant team ethic.
